  General Notes:

Caroline Mullan (nee Sinnott) notes:
I don't have the wording on the family graves in old Killavaney cemetery which is up a long lane but the following may be of interest:

Gravestone in New Killavaney Cemetery (beside RC church on hill some distance away and high above Old Killavaney cemetery), grave near centre:
'Erected by John Sinnott of Killacloran in memory of his beloved wife Catherine Sinnott who died 19 Dec 1891 aged 65 and his step-daughters Kate Kavanagh who died 20 Jan 1877 aged 21, Lucy Mordaunt 19 Dec 1901 aged 41, also his daughter Julia Toomey died 19 Jan 1902 aged 36 and the above John Sinnott died 30 July 1918 aged 84 his son Patrick died 23 Dec 1922, his daughter M A Murray died 14 July 1943'
I spoke to Ettie Wilkinson years ago about Uncle Jack and she said that his son Patrick married Mary Lamb but they had no children and mentioned that because of this the farm (I suppose at Killacloran) went to Willie Mordaunt who would have been the son of Lucy, the above-mentioned step-daughter who was married to a Mordaunt. I'd say Uncle Jack's wife, the above-mentioned Catherine, was probably married to a Kavanagh first as Kate was only 21 when she died and probably still single. John Sinnott (Uncle Jack) was a first cousin of my great-grandfather.

John married Catherine. (Catherine was born circa 1835 and died on 19 Dec 1891.)
