I was looking for Clare Waldron, a dear childhood friend of mine, born, as I was, in 1938. Her sister Ursula died recently and I am going to a service of thanksgiving for her life on Monday 14th December near Marlborough, Wiltshire, UK. Clare disappeared a number of years ago, much to the sadness of my mother, whose god daughter she was, and of myself.
Clare and Ursula were the daughters of Morris ( I thought it was Maurice) and Phyllis Waldron (nee Alley). Morris was involved with sheep farming in the Falklands and Patagonia, South America.
That is all I know. I would dearly like to know what happened to Clare. I doubt very much whether she will hear about her sister's death or turn up at the service.
