He was at sea on the Queen Mary, Southampton to New York, from September 1950 to October 1951, about 16 crossings all told. He was a "trimmer", 5' 7" tall, weighed 170lbs and had a scar on his left cheek!!!
On his first crossing on the QM he is recorded as having been at sea for 7 years. Can't find his other vessels as yet.
Brinley married Doris Eugene Parry in 1968, marriage registered in Bridgend, Glamorgan, Wales.
