• fact. "A lot of this information was given to author by Mrs. Von. Turley of Bathurst & also Mrs. Carole Hope of Young & all was passed on to myself (Leanne Kenane) by Rona Moloney nee Smyth". It was thought that there could be another one in the family, named PATRICK (included) but how & when he came to Australia is not known. Patrick & Catherine came to Australia as bounty emigrates on ~ALQUIS~ 16.3.1839. ARCHIVES REEL 1297. Patrick Malony, Mellick, Co. Clare son of Michael Molony, Farmer & Bridget Halloran, Labourer, 41 RC. does not read & write. Catherine Malony, Mellick Co. Clare, daughter of James Wilson or Walsh & Catherine Kane, dairymaid 38, RC does not read & write. Children:- Michael 19; James 13; Mary 20; Catherine 16; Ellen 11; Bridget 10; Ann 7; Margaret 2 1/4. Catherine Moloney nee Wilson or Walsh died at Campbell River on 1.12.1863, cause of death Bronchitis 9 days. Buried 3.12.1863 at Bathurst. Death Certificate states Married in Ireland when 21yrs old & gives the name of Patrick as one of her children while death certificate for Patrick doesn't mention a Patrick. PATRICK MOLONEY CAUSE OF DEATH "SENILITY, ABSCESS"

Patrick married Catherine Walsh on 1 May 1813. (Catherine Walsh was born in 1801 in Ireland UK and died in 1863.)
