(Jessie Dickson was born on 17 Nov 1857 in Ballarat, Victoria Australia, died on 24 Nov 1933 in 11 Inkerman St, St Kilda, Melbourne, Victoria Australia and was buried on 25 Nov 1933 in Cheltenham General Cemetery, Victoria Australia.)

Victorian marriage certificate 2829/1877 Jessie Dickson married John O'Brien at Wesleyan Parsonage, Lydiard Street, Ballarat on 20th July 1877. John was born in Tasmania, aged 21, a labourer. He was living and working in Sebastopol. His parents James O'Brien (labourer) and Catherine Jackson. John signed his marriage certificate with an X. Jessie's place of birth is given as Scotchman's, Victoria but I have not found anything near Ballarat by this name. Jessie's residence is White Horse Ranges, Ballarat. Jessie signed her own name. Witnesses were James Kingdom and Jane Kingdom.
