Elizabeth was the 14th and final child of Hector Cameron and Elizabeth Handebo who married Reg no: 1345/1866 District: Armidale. Elizabeth grew up on the family property, "Breelong" and attended Yarrowyck School.
Herbert and Elizabeth owned the property "Ulna" at Yarrowyck, via Uralla where they grew fine wool sheep and grapes.
Herbert's sister Winifred married Elizabeth's brother William.
Elizabeth married Herbert James Faulkner, son of John Faulkner and Helena Agnes Adams, on 14 Sep 1921 in Glen Innes, NSW Australia. (Herbert James Faulkner was born on 22 Sep 1889 in Yarrowyck, via Uralla, NSW Australia, died on 13 May 1970 in Tamworth, NSW Australia and was buried in Armidale cemetery, NSW Australia.)
