Jane & Paul Ninner note: Margaret Keighran was the daughter of Patrick Keighran and Catherine Kitts. She was born in Sydney in 1807. Ref: "Born in The English Colony of New South Wales 1801-1810)" by Dr. Craig James Smee. Craig Smee lists four children in this book: 1802 John 1806 Patrick 1807 Margaret 8/9/1810 Thomas Margaret married Robert Burke 25th October 1824 in St. Matthews' Church Windsor (ref: V18243441 3B). She is mentioned in the 1828 Census (ref: B3246) Margaret and Robert had three children, Robert (1826), Catherine (1828) and Rebecca (1838). Margaret's husband, Robert, was the chief constable in Campbelltown and was responsible for arresting George Worrall for the murder of Frederick George James Fisher in 1826. There is now an annual festival in Campbelltown celebrating 'Fisher's Ghost'.
