George Alce Foord was the stationmaster at Tidemills station near Seaford. The Pelham family were big in Seaford there is a Pelham Place & also Pelham Arms pub.
My cousin also a Foord was born next door to the Pelham Arms pub.
George married Mary Ann Pelham in 1896 in Lewes, East Sussex England. (Mary Ann Pelham was born in 1877 in Bishopstone, Sussex England.)
