Apparent 2nd baptism 8 June 1817 where mother is recorded as "Elizabeth BRICKNELL late COPELING", with father as Daniel, Cordwainer. Possible the 1816 Yorkshire child died young and a second boy was born early 1817 in Foston also named Daniel.

Daniel married Fanny Eliza Burton, daughter of Thomas Burton and Hannah Hewkin, on 20 Jul 1840 in St Martins, Birmingham, Warwickshire England. (Fanny Eliza Burton was born circa 1822 in Barton Under Needwood, Staffordshire England, christened on 28 Dec 1823 in Barton Under Needwood, Staffordshire England and died before 1901 in Birmingham, Warwickshire England.)
