Arthur Lee Doty, son of David and Pamela (Orton) Doty, and a descendant of Edward Doty of the Mayflower, was born 8^th March 1857, in Geango, Ohio. He was educated at the public school in Talleyrand where his parent then and afterwards resided. He is (1914) a farmer and resides at Gladstone, Manitoba, Canada.
(Reported that Arthur Lee Doty and his wife Helen Clarinda (Gray) Doty perished in a prairie fire in August or September, 1920).

Arthur married Helen Clarinda Gray, daughter of George Gray and Eliza Luckey. (Helen Clarinda Gray was born on 23 Aug 1857 in Talleyrand, Koekuk County, Iowa USA.)
