Ernest Gray

   Cause of his death was yellow fever.

Ernest, b. in May 1844; d. of yellow fever, probably in Brewton, Ala. in 1884. He married in 1866, a lady whose name we never learned; she died of consumption, at Lampson Springs, Texas 30^th Dec. 1877, leaving three daughters whose names and further history we know nothing about. He was apparently well educated and his correspondence showed excellent penmanship. In 1873 he was running a general store at Brewton, Ala .
