Francis Caldwell Savage (usually mentioned in correspondence as "Caldwell") married sometime before Oct.1853; lived near Charlton, Iowa; was in ILL. In 1854; then back to Iowa; 25^th June 1871 he was living near Olatha, in Johnson Co., Kans. At which date, Obid W. Savage, his brother writes that Caldwell had six children living and two dead. He had a son named Thomas Savage 3^rd Oct.1853 and another son (no name given) born 4^th Feb. 1854.
