My paternal grandmother was Charlotte-Dora Mizen/Myzon who was born in Carman, Manitoba in the Methodist religion (Mizen), then once orphaned & adopted by a Catholic family they had changed the spelling of surname (Myzon). I was only able to retrace her paternal lineage as far back to a John Mizen & Mary Edwards in the mid-18th century.
