  General Notes:

See pic 14 of Timber Getters and the butt end of a log felled. Walter was seen to cut many this size in the Pinnacles near Gloucester, Main Creek near Dungog and the Wattagan Mountain between Wyong and Cessnock.
See pics 26 & 27 for some of the axes used by Walter & earlier by his father to cut railway sleepers.
