George agreed to work for 12 months for Edward Drinkwater of Kissing Point as a gardener

On his death registration there were 2 male and 4 female children unaccounted for

He was baptised at St Mary in the Parish of Lambeth in the county of Surrey. His dad John was a gardener ,his mum Hannah and they lived in Anderson's Walk


Banns of his marriage to Sarah Poyle Batchelor were 11th, 18th and 25th June , at St George the Martyr, Southwark , but pages were missing for the actual marriage

George married Sarah Poyle Batchelor, daughter of William Batchelor and Lucy Anne Osbourne, about 1837 in Parish of St George the Martyr, Southwark, Surrey England. (Sarah Poyle Batchelor was born in 1813 in London City, Middlesex England, died on 19 Jan 1889 in Marrickville, Sydney, NSW Australia and was buried on 20 Jan 1889 in Waverley Cemetery, Sydney, NSW Australia.)
