Hazel Ellen Yewdall

  General Notes:

Hazel suffered a brain aneurism in 1974, spent many months in hospital but eventually regained her health and lived a good 10 years. Then she suffered a massive stroke. Norman tried to care for her at home but it was too hard a job, so Hazel moved to a nursing home in the next street. He visited Hazel 3 times a day until her death, feeding her all her meals.They still loved each other and spent many hours watching television together and keeping up with the news. Norman brought Hazel home in a wheel chair 2 days a week when we would visit and the grandchildren would see their nanny in her own home .....Lorraine Yewdall

Hazel married Norman Frank Middlehurst, son of Arthur Charles Middlehurst and Amelia Jane Anderson, on 11 Jul 1958 in Sydney Registry Office, Sydney, NSW Australia. (Norman Frank Middlehurst was born on 9 Apr 1921 in Annandale, Sydney, NSW Australia, died on 20 Mar 1999 and was buried in Rookwood Crematorium Rose Garden, Sydney, NSW Australia.)
