Richard married Ellen Hullah, daughter of George Hullah and Harriet Redman, on 3 Oct 1870 in Scone, NSW Australia. (Ellen Hullah was born on 22 Dec 1833 in Westminster, Hanover Square, London England and died on 14 Mar 1905 in Scone, NSW Australia.)
