General Notes:
The birth index reference for Emily lists her father as Henry W E Mackay and mother as Mary Hillary??? But her birth is only a few months after William Matthew's so there must have been either a mistake in transcribing the birth date or the parents names. Also, she is the only other Mackay born in Queensland at the time, apart from the children listed under Hugh and Mary so this suggests that she is one of their children.
Lastly, her birth record on Ancestry.com has her middle name as "Elorn" but her death record has it as "Elder". I believe Elder is the correct one as it matches her fathers.
