Noted events in his life were:

• note. 263 Craig Smith notes: Bridget Considine was possibly the sister of Catherine Considine (Born abt 1820 Liscannor, County Clare, Ireland, arrived free on the Elphinstone 1840). Catherine's parent's are listed on the shipping record as Michael Considine (deceased) and Margaret Mahony. Bridget's parent's are not yet confirmed.

Considine married Luke Everitt in Sydney 1840. Luke was a convict originally convicted as William Andrews transported on the Marquis of Huntley 1830 born in England abt 1812.
Two of my mother's cousins had done a lot of research into Luke & Catherine over many years. One cousin had told me Catherine was supposed to have had a sister named Bridget but no-one knew any details. One of Luke & Catherine's sons William died in the Parramatta Hospital for the Insane in 1901. On his hospital fileI found a letter from "E Green of Shannonvale, Corowa" who describes William as "my cousin". I know "cousin" can mean a wider relationship than just first cousin but I believe the relationship is close because E Green is the first person the authorities contact, donates 10 shillings to William's upkeep and undertakes to contact his sisters. "E Green of Shannonvale, Corowa" turns out to be Mrs Euphemia Green widow of William Curran Green. I believe this establishes a link between our Catherine Considine and Bridget Considine the convict.
This connection is strengthened by James Byrne being one of the sponsors for the baptism of Luke & Catherine's first child, Mary Ann Everitt (Born Sydney 1842). The other sponsor is Mary Considine but her connection to the family has not been established.
mother was Kathleen Phyllis Everitt (Born 1939 Rutherglen).
Kathleen's father was Gordon Robert Henry Everitt (Born 1907 Wangaratta).
Gordon's father was Wilfred Charles Everitt known as "Bob" (Supposedly born 1881 Howlong - no birth record found).
This is where things get murky.
Bob Everitt was raised by Edward James "Ned" Everitt (Son of Luke & Catherine born 1852 Gundagai) and his wife Hannah Maria "Annie" True and he believed them to be his parents up until 1932. There is no record that Ned and Annie had any children of their own but they raised at least 3 other children over the years. Two of the others are known to be from the True family and the origins of the fourth are not known. After Ned died in 1931, Ned's brother Thomas James "Tom" Everitt (Born 1848) told Bob that his real father was another brother John Joseph "Jack" Everitt (Born 1844 Goulbourn) who had died from head injuries about two months before Bob was supposedly born in 1881. To add to the confusion, one of Bob's daughters listed Tom as his father on his death record but it is generally considered this was just an error.
So, while I think there is a good argument for the link between Catherine and Bridget Considine, there is a possibility that Bob Everitt and his descendants aren't really Everitts. I am currently arranging some Y chromosome DNA testing, comparing a male line descendant of Tom Everitt (and therefore Luke) with two male line descendants of Bob (my uncle and his cousin). Of course, this will not tell us who Bob's father was, but should at least confirm whether Bob's father was descended from Luke.

Michael married Mary Mahony. (Mary Mahony was born circa 1790.)
