I am unsure when robert came to Oz, presumably before the rest of his family who arrived on the "Telegraph" 20/9/53. Roberts parents were Hugh & sarah (dobson) from County Cavan in Ireland. The dobsons were a well known medical family.


Robert married Elizabeth Moxham, daughter of Henry Moxham and Mary Ann Moxham, on 13 Aug 1858 in "Mt Moxham", Penrith, Sydney, NSW Australia. (Elizabeth Moxham was born in 1834 and died in 1914.)
