The 1828 census records that Thomas had a 50 acre property, eight of which were cleared and cultivated. He employed 6 convicts/ticket of leave men and held two horses and twelve cattle. It also records Thomas as having a wife Annah, and daughters Mary Ann, Ruth, Eleanor and Rachael.

Eleanor married William Bellamy, son of James Zadok Bellamy and Hannah Singleton, on 10 Feb 1845 in Parramatta, Sydney, NSW Australia. (William Bellamy was born on 10 Apr 1823 in Pennant Hills, Sydney, NSW Australia and died on 10 Jul 1891 in South Grafton, NSW Australia.)
