Thomas Peters, one of 280 convicts transported on the ship 'Asia' which departed Torbay on 4 Aug 1837 under Master Ben Freeman and surgeon John Gannon. He was convicted at age 22 at Lancaster Quarter Session for a term of 14 years on 9 Jan 1837 for house breaking.

Thomas married Charlotte Rumbley on 13 Jan 1845 in Sydney, NSW Australia. (Charlotte Rumbley was born circa 1823.)
