Andrew and his family were immigrants aboard the ship 'Coromandel' in 1802. Also on board was James Davison Andrew Johnston, Third Rohilla Cavalry, reported the Sydney Gazette in August 1820, had died in Calcutta.


Thomas married Elizabeth Cavanough, daughter of Owen (the second) (Seaman) Cavanough and Margaret (convict) Dowling / Darnell, circa 1812. (Elizabeth Cavanough was born on 4 Jan 1796 in Norfolk Island Penal Settlement, NSW Australia.)
