  • Marriage (1): Hannah Rae Chowne in 1803 in England UK
  • Died: 20 Feb 1868, Penrith, Sydney, NSW Australia at age 88

  General Notes:

Lyndy Cracknell notes:
Richard was definitley NOT born in Penrith - he came as a convict as you describe on your page on the Surry 1 arriving Port Jackson 28 July 1814.
I found a Richard Robinson also in the St John Horsleydown parish register in 1780, with parents Richard and Mary which are the names of his two eldest children, so I have guardedly accepted that this was most likely him. St John Horsleydown was on the south bank of the Thames in Bermondsey, near Shad Thames.
Richard died in 1868 at Ropes Creek, and is buried at St Mary's Church, South Creek. (all in the St Mary's area)
