Lindsay had a relationship with Freda May Parrish, daughter of James Parrish and Lilly Elizabeth (T) Dawes, in 1925 in Burrowa, (later changed to Boorowa) NSW Australia.¹⁵⁶ (Freda May Parrish was born on 18 Sep 1906 in Murwillumbah, NSW Australia, died on 18 Jan 1990 in Macksville, NSW Australia and was buried in Macksville, NSW Australia.)

Lindsay was granted a Divorce in 1928, in a newspaper article 4^th July 1928 this was cancelled on appeal , one of the reasons being his adultry with Freda May Parrish, they were living as man and wife at the time.
