In 1963 he became the Advisor & Manager for the Victorian Reserve Bank of Australia. In 1965 he was living at 17 Riverview Road, North Balwyn, Victoria.

During World War II he served as a Private in the 7th Battalion Volunteer Defence Corps of the Australian Army.
