George John Snell

• source. ⁹⁸⁶ Doug Hooper who notes: George gave up Park and went to London, working as a verger in Southwark Cathedral. He lived at 49a Sithney Street in May 1959. He later moved to West Bromwich where he was similarly employed as a verger until he retired. He died after being knocked down by a bus outside his lodgings.
