Denis's wife Margaret Maher died at Newington Asylum Parramatta, (for aged and destitutes) in 8^th dec 1889, aged 74yo, she died as a pauper and was buried at Rookwood in an unmarked grave I have her hospital records, and death cert she came out in 1840, the daughter of Michael Maher (dec) and Bridget, she was a bounty emigrant on the. She was born in Castletown Tipperary.
