  General Notes:

Heather Harrison notes:
Adeline was a sister of my gt grandmother Jessie Plummer. The Plummer family lived at Waverley, later for some time at Adelong - where maybe the contact with Jason occurred - and then back to Waverley, Sydney. Adeline was apparently known as Pat. - mentioned in the death notice for Jason. She'd been a school teacher so that may have been the connection too.

I've wondered if there was any contact between Jason's 4 daughters but of course at this late time, no way of ever knowing that. I've been trying to track down the lives of all 7 Plummer sisters.
Jessie I know - she taught at Tumut, riding her pony from Adelong to board there each week. Later transferred to Wentworth, she married there to George Kerridge. I knew her for a few brief years as widowed she came to live with her daughter at Myrtleford in NE Victoria where I was born. She died there 1954. I've recently found a photo of Pat and sisters meeting at Wentworth, maybe 1930s.

Adeline was 3rd daughter of Thomas Plummer and Harriet Taylor - lived Waverley, later Adelong and widowed, Thomas back to Waverley near his in-laws with younger girls. I've been told Adeline was a hospital matron but have not found proof. Certainly several sisters were nurses so it's possible.

Widowed, she's started teaching. School teachers promoted. Maitland Weekly Mercury 7 Jan 1911. Workmistress - Mrs Adeline M Graham, East Maitland.

SMH 2 July 1942. Graham - July 1 1942 at private hospital Manly, Adeline Maud Graham (Pat), beloved wife of the late J J Graham, late of Parramatta North, Funeral from St Matthews church Manly for Waverley cemetery.

SMH 20 July 1942. Supreme Court of NSW - Probate. In the Will of Adeline Maud Graham, late of Manly NSW, widow, deceased, ..... granted to Adeline Beatrice Channon, executrix named in said Will ... of Bruce st, Cooks Hill. Adeline Beatrice was an unmarried niece, a nurse.

On the 2nd marriage front, Adeline's grandmother brought 4 sons to Sydney in 1840, following/searching for her master mariner husband. It's determined he's dead but no records found - she marries 1841 an Irish widower in Sydney with his huge family, and they have 2 children, and 1842 have court case to access the mariners estate - all £40. The first family descendants won't acknowledge gggrandpa married again ... I suspect that maybe the 2nd family inherited and there was a rift but guess I'll never know. At least now the descendants of the 2nd family know who their ancestors were. One lives at Coffs.
