Caroline married Captain John Howell, son of Private and Private, on 10 Aug 1845 in Wellington, New Zealand. (Captain John Howell was born on 25 Jan 1810 in Eastbourne, East Sussex England, died on 25 May 1874 in Sydney, NSW Australia and was buried in Riverton, Otago New Zealand.)
