James married Esther Louisa Perry, daughter of Alfred Thomas Perry and Esther Griffiths, in 1909 in Holy Trinity, Oldbury, West Midlands England. (Esther Louisa Perry was born on 13 Oct 1887 in Worcester, Worcestershire England and died on 4 Dec 1965.)
