John Clothier immigrated to Australia on the ALIQUIS in 1856 from Plymouth to Port Adelaide. His family stayed in SA
George and Silas Clothier both immigrated to Australia in 1864 on the OCEAN CHIEF to Port Adelaide, the boys lived in VIC - marrying then moved onto NSW.
Emma Clothier immigrated to Australia also in 1864 on the ART UNION but later than George and Silas. She married and ended up in VIC

John married Elizabeth Jane Wood, daughter of Henry Wood and Mary Battinson, on 7 Apr 1859 in Plympton, South Australia. (Elizabeth Jane Wood was born on 26 Apr 1840, died on 30 Oct 1888 in Barunga, South Australia and was buried in Keilli Cemetery, Mundoora, South Australia.)
