There is a lot of confusion over Henry and his siblings. Different researchers have come up with different versions of this branch of the family. It seems several of the children of Walter and Ellen Lavis were brought up by Solomon Wiseman from the family that built Wiseman's ferry in NSW. There are mixed opinions of opinion as to if the children were adopted or just brought up by Solomon and when they started using his name. Most researchers have Henry Lavis / Wiseman marrying Violet Hall but Win Johns and Ann Hazlewood have a second marriage to Annie Somerville Baker in 1907 and four offspring (1907-1918) with Henry dying in 1945. They also are confused by Henry's sister Lucy who they suggest may have different parentage. Other researchers seem to be descended from Henry Lavis / Wiseman and a wife Elizabeth Fisher with at least seven children (1907-1926). They have Henry dying in 1954 not 1945. They have produced Henry's death certificate which seems to back up their version with just the Hall and Fisher marriages. Also they have telling family memories that confirm many details such an Aunty Vi, who is the child of Violet Hall.
