Charles' ancestors include John Madden a convict on the "Archduke Charles" 16/2/1813: William Evans and Judith Bidwell both convicts on the "Surprise" 25/10/1794 also William Allsop a 2nd Fleet convict on the "Surprise" 26/6/1790 and Mary Atherley a convict on the "Aeolus" 26/1/1809.
Other ancestors were 1st Fleet convicts Samuel Day on the "Alexander" and Mary Bishop on the "Lade Penrhyn" Job Wilson a convict on the "Guildford" 18/1/1812 also John Rogers a 2nd Fleet convict on the "Neptune" 26/6/1790 and Elizabeth Celey a convict on the "Britannia" 18/7/1798.

William married Mary (convict) Atherley. (Mary (convict) Atherley was born circa 1760 and died on 30 Jul 1848.)
