Thomas married Margaret Quinn, daughter of Thomas Quinn and Mary Hynes, in 1887 in Gunnedah, NSW Australia. (Margaret Quinn was born circa 1855, died on 23 Jun 1930 in Somerton, Scone, NSW Australia and was buried in Catholic Cemetery, Attunga, near Tamworth, NSW Australia.)
