1848 Thomas Watkins 23 year old TOL bachelor married 21 year old free Ell en Miles in the Melville St Chapel Hobart. They were married accordi ng to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Wesleyen Church by Minister John Egg leston. Thomas signed X his mark and Ellen her signature. (Eliza Anne Curd was born on 9 Dec 1852 in Kilmore, Victoria Australia, christened on 26 Dec 1852 in Christ Church C of E, Kilmore, Victoria Australia, died on 6 Mar 1910 in Beechworth Road, Wodonga, Victoria Australia and was buried on 7 Mar 1910 in R.C. Cemetery Wodonga, Victoria Australia.). The cause of her death was Virtual Henia. Strangulation of the bowel over three days.
