Kezia(h) remarried after the death of her first husband and in 1849 emigrated to Australia, taking her children of the second marriage. Daughter Grace Lavars nee Barnicoat and husband James also emigrated.

Keziah next married Edward Barnicoat, son of Christopher Barnicoat and Ann Giles, on 4 Nov 1815 in St Levan, Cornwall England. (Edward Barnicoat was born in 1789 in St Levan, Cornwall England and died on 14 Aug 1825 in Paul, Cornwall England.)
