William married Amelia May (Annie) Tindall, daughter of John (The 3Rd) Tindall and Elizabeth Ann Freestone, on 2 Feb 1916 in St Pauls, Sydney, NSW Australia. (Amelia May (Annie) Tindall was born in 1894 in Capertee, near Lithgow, NSW Australia, died in 1958 and was buried in Narromine, NSW Australia.)
