Wilfred Waldron and Gladys Townsend emigrated to Patagonia. There is a complex Patagonia/ Falkland Island movement that I haven't quite got to the bottom of. Both Waldrons and Woods went into very successful business together in the Falkland Islands and Patagonia in the late 19th century. I am not clear who moved where first, I think they went to the Falklands first and then some brothers moved on to Patagonia. Kenneth and Victor were born in Tierra del Fuego and baptised in St James church Punta Arenas although they came back to the UK when very young. Kenneth subsequently emigrated to New Zealand and there are related Waldrons in both North and South Island (Napier, Christchurch and Wanaka).
