Alfred married Clara Roberta Frean, daughter of John Hender Frean and Mary Siderfin, in 1882 in Victoria Australia. (Clara Roberta Frean was born on 22 Jun 1855 in Lyme Regis, Dorset England and died in 1919 in Burwood, Sydney, NSW Australia.)
