Pontesbury is a large village and civil parish in Shropshire and is approximately eight miles southwest of the county town of Shrewsbury.

Jemima married Edward Bennett, son of Edward Bennett and Martha Hughes, in Jun 1876 in Wrexham, Cheshire England. (Edward Bennett was christened on 17 Mar 1823 in St Chads, Shrewsbury, Shropshire England, died in 1891 and was buried in Methodist Cemetery, Wollongong, NSW Australia By R.C. Oakley.)
