Thomas was born in Stamford in 1774 and was transported on the ship 'Elizabeth' arriving in Sydney on 05.10.1816. He was an army officer and a Schoolmaster. Thomas married Charity Evans Reg no: V18233185 3B/1823 in St Johns CofE Church in Parramatta. He died Reg no: V1841774 25B/1841 aged 69.
There was a Charity I Evans (not Nott) died Reg no: 741/1859 District: Sydney with parents of George and Caroline. This may be the same Charity married to Thomas.

11.04.1823 - Re permission to marry at Windsor.
Nov 1824 - Seeking appointment as Matron in the Female Orphan School.
