Marie was left all Edward's wordly goods in his will after the payment of the £3.5s legacies to each child. She was charged with the upbringing of the children and, if she remarried, "then she shall pay unto every one of my Children according to the tymes before mentioned, four pounds A peece."

Marie married Edward Shuesmithe on 29 Apr 1605 in Laughton, East Sussex England. (Edward Shuesmithe was born about 1575, died in Nov 1628 and was buried on 26 Nov 1628 in Laughton, East Sussex England.)
