  Research Notes:

source: John Siedenburg (Netherlands), son of Rosaly Mary Wander who notes:
According my mother, now 99 years and still mental and physical in good health, Alice M. Priestley was married with Jasper Ryalls, so her aunt and uncle, and that they had no children. My mother, who was very fond of her aunt and uncle has spent lots of holiday time at them during her teenager years in Scarborough and remembers the following true story:
-On December 16th 1914 her nephew John Shields Ryalls, 14 month old, was killed by shrapnel during the raid on Scarborough.
This all can be find back in the book "Bombardment", author Mark Marsay, published in 1999.
However something is confusing now: The book is confirming the accident, however it says that John Shield Ryalls was the son of George Ryalls, unemployed and living on the same address as Jasper Ryalls at Westbourne Park 22 in Scarborough. This brings me to the question: Who was George Ryalls as my mother says that Jasper Ryalls had no children?

Jasper married Alice M. Priestley, daughter of Joseph Priestley and Rebecca M. (Alice M. Priestley was born about 1875 in Boston, Lincolnshire England.)
