Obituary Mr E Robinson Gebnuine sorrow will be felt by many old residents of this district at the death of Mr Edward Robinson of Armstrongs, who has been closelyassociated withnthis district for nealy fifty years. The deceased gentleman, who has been in failing health for the past three months, expiredyesterday at the age of 65 years. Mr Robinson was a native of Tasmania, and came over to Victoria with his parents when a boy of four years of age.In the early days of the diggings Mr Robinson was engaged carting on the raods and for years he was occupied carring goods to Landsborough for thelate T Maclurcan and W H Kaye and others, and later in farming pursuits. He was a keen judge of draught horse stock and a breeder of note, and hadsome of two best Clydesdales that have been in the district. Aboutr seven years ago he came to Armstrongs. The deceased leaves a widow and a familyof one son Mr William Robionson of Armstrongs, and three daughters - Mrs Aston of Armstrongs; Mrs Aston of Landsborough; and Mrs Healey of Horsham.The remains of the deceased will be interred in the Ararat Cemetary tomorrow.
