Victor Thomas Hodgson enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force on 22/9/1916. His next of kin was his father Mr. Charles W. Hodgson, 10 Windsor Crescent, Surrey Hills, Victoria. The Certificate of Medical Examination describes Victor as: - 19 years, height - 5 feet 7 and a half inches, weight - 138 pounds, chest measurement - 31/34 inches, complexion - Medium, eyes - hazel, hair - brown and religious denomination - Presbyterian. His distinctive marks were: - Vac. 3 left arm, Scar right shin, Mole back neck. Victor was admitted to the Tidworth with bronchitis on 5/3/1917 and was admitted sick with influenza on 11/3/1917 to the Delhi Hospital. Victor was discharged on 18/11/1919. Victor received the Star, British War and Victory Medal.
