Robert William (Bobby) Osborne

Robert Osborne aged nine years of Downs Street, Regent, was drowned in five feet of water in Edwardes Lake, Reservoir yesterday afternoon. With two other boys he was playing on a plank near the edge of the Lake. Osborne was paddling alongside the plank, holding on at the same time with one hand. His grip slipped and he sank.
The other boys scrambled ashore and sought assistance. Police dragged for an hour before they recovered the body near the edge of the lake.
