Phillip Tarlinton notes:
Margaret already had a son William Duggan who was born August 11th 1806. His father being William Ruffain. Recorded that he died at the age of 91 on 17th August, 1840.
William became part of the household, adding the name Tarlington to his own, unofficially.


Margaret married John Tarlinton, son of John Tarlinton and Catherine Jackson, on 30 Dec 1811. (John Tarlinton was born in 1800.)


Margaret next married William Ruffain. (William Ruffain was born circa 1780 and died on 17 Aug 1840.)
