George Irvin Dick enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force on the 4/3/1916, his wife Lucy Agnes Dick was his next of kin and her address is listed as 31 Pental Road, Caulfield. His certificate of medical examination of the 28/2/1916 describes George as being 27 years and eleven months , height - 5 feet 6 inches, weight - 128 lbs, chest measurement 33/35 inches, complexion - fair, eyes - blue, hair - light brown and religious denomination - Presbyterian.
