William Donald (Don) Sawyer

  General Notes:

William Donald Sawyer was born on the 7th of November 1930. He was always known as Don.
Don was educated at Yering Primary School, the Box Hill Boys High School, Geelong College and the Dookie Agricultural College. He graduated from Dookie with Second Class Honours.
Together with his brother Jim, he farmed at Coldstream milking cows until 1966. The two brothers purchased two more farms and took on share farmers to operate them.
Don was active in the scouting movement and became a Group Scout Master. He was also a member of Apex. He was an elder of the Lilydale Presbyterian Church.
Don married Jean Puschenjak on May the 5th 1984.
He was a very active and loved member of Mt Evelyn Christian Fellowship.
